Invite team members with specific roles to handle various tasks within the dashboard

Here's an overview of the default roles and their permissions:

Add a New Member

Ready to bring new members on board? Follow these steps:

  1. Add New Member Click the "Add New Member" button, then fill Member Name and a valid email address where the invite notification will be sent

  2. Assign Role Select the appropriate role from the dropdown menu based on the member's responsibilities

  3. Send Invitation Once all details are filled in, click the "Send Invitation" button

Important Note:

To begin a payout, make sure you invite two new members to your team, one with the "Maker" role who can initiate the payout process, and another with the "Approver" role who reviews and approves the payout before it's sent.

Invitation and Onboarding

The invited team member will receive an email notification containing a link to accept the invitation. The email will also include an instruction on how to finish setting up their account

Granting Specialized Access: Create Custom Roles

Need to assign specific permissions to new team members? Custom roles allow you to tailor access within your disbursement platform. Here's how to create one:

  1. Access Roles and Permissions Locate the "Settings" menu and navigate to "Roles and Permissions"

  2. Add Custom Role Click the button labeled "Add Custom Role"

  3. Define Role Name Give your new role a clear and descriptive title (e.g. "Limited Approver," "Data Analyst")

  4. Assign Permissions Select the specific actions you want users with this role to be able to perform. This might include creating disbursements, approving transactions, viewing disbursement history, or managing other users, depending on your needs

  5. Finalize the Role Once you've named the role and chosen the permissions, click the "Save" button to finalize the custom role
